Faith that is anchored on God’s promises is bold. When it’s God who has promised, it doesn’t matter who or what stands in your way – claim your inheritance because you have God’s backing! This is the heritage of they which are of a different spirit, and are faithful followers of The LORD God.

To be Christian is the most exciting and rewarding thing on the Earth. Tomorrow, it shall be the Christian who shall reign in glory over the nations.

The promise given to the overcomers in the church at Philadelphia, among others, was that the overcomer will be made a pillar in the temple of God. There is also an exhortation to hold fast what they already have, so that no-one takes their crown. The modern church is therefore urged to learn from this message given by Jesus so that we also hold fast, and become partakers also of these promises.

God’s holy people are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. This book guarantees our inheritance in the eternal and glorious kingdom of God as long as our names remain in the book, and are not blotted out.

What God is looking for are not people who simply profess to be Christians, but people who overcome. Jesus Christ’s messages to the seven churches all promise eternal salvation and rewards to they which overcome and keep His words to the end. Be enlightened as you listen to this sermon.
